Bluubosians are an alien race that often found throughout the galaxy. One female Bluubosian seems to be acquainted with Rick and Birdperson, as she attended the latter's wedding and the Logic concert set up by Rick.
Appearance[]
Bluubosians have an appearance that is very similar to that of an octopus. They have green skin, four tentacles for limbs with two on each side of the body, and three tentacles that hid their mouths. Many members of their species even have humps on their backs. Female members have additional tentacles atop their scalps that appear to serve as hair-like appendages.
Many Bluubosians tend to dress very poorly, with some of them only wearing a small white sleeveless shirt on their torso, and nothing on the lower half of their body. However, a few of them were seen wearing pants, as was the case with a Bluubosian surgeon. Additionally, females of this species also dress more conservatively, at least compared to many of the males.

- The Bluubosians are very similar in appearance to the Decapodians from Futurama, as both species have similarly-shaped heads with tendrils above their mouths. In fact, the Bluubosians may have been inspired by the Decapodians, even though they differ in skin color and in the shape and number of their limbs.
- Additionally, a Bluubosian surgeon was featured on Rick and Morty, which may be a reference to Dr. John Zoidberg, a Decapodian who appeared on Futurama as a main character.
