There's still not a single reason as to why every page in this category hasn't been deleted.
You all volunteered to do what you could to make this wiki good. Completely ignoring vital parts of this wiki's infrastructure (like Category:Candidates for deletion) is incompetence. The fact that I had to tell you about this is troubling.
It's your phrasing that's the problem. You could have just, y'know, asked. I'd have had no problem looking over it. There's about a million things that need to be done on this wiki, in case you haven't noticed. I don't know why you felt the need to demand and condescend our work ethic as if you're somehow superior to us.
If another admin didn't get around to it, I would have eventually. Also, personally, I didn't delete everything off the bat since a few of those pages I feel merit discussion on whether or not it should be kept. Anyway, I've gone through it right now and deleted the ones that I felt could obviously be deleted and left the rest alone for now.
For future reference, it pays to be polite when you'd like someone to do something. Online or irl.
I'd like to implore y'all to more closely monitor this wiki's Discord chat, or to hire a few chat moderators for it and expand the rules there.
This wiki's Discord is unusual in that it is disproportionately huge compared to its moderation staff, and it hasn't adopted any form of security (whether it is using Discord's built in verification levels, or doing the most extreme and gating the community to just wiki editors).
As it stands now, this Discord is among the most "wild" wiki Discords I have been a part of. It's relatively quiet compared to its size, but people have gotten into the server posting pictures of terrorist groups, dead people, and are throwing around the n-word like nothing. It's very susceptible to the "raiding" phenomena.
Dude. I would totally love chat moderators. Personally, I'm not one who enjoys chatrooms with any regularity, and it was installed because a couple community members asked for it. Been hoping for a few stand out members to be mods, but I haven't noticed anyone quite mod material as of yet. Tho, a contributing factor is that I'm not there often myself. It's something I've got to try and discuss with other admins. So, I hear you, man.
Good morning / afternoon / evening, I am Kraunus, Brazilian user and founder of the Brazilian Rick and Morty wiki. The series has become more popular here in the country and I would like to know if you and the other administrators of this community agree to make an interwiki link between the American wiki and the Brazilian wiki.
I'm still at the beginning and I intend to give some of my time to this community, adding content, images and more. Best regards, Kraunus.
You reverted my edit to the Transcriptbox template, without explanation. I spent a fair amount of time organising the Templates such that each transcript is in its season's category. Having them also be part of the general Transcripts category just makes things a mess. Why do you think all users of Template:Transcriptbox should be added to the general Transcripts category?
Something about having duplicate entries for all transcripts one link apart (Transcripts -> Season transcripts) is bothering me. Having the Transcript category be added as part of a template also doesn't seem right, as we would lose the category if people stopped using the template. I suppose episodes do something similar with general and season categories, but they at least use an infobox which seems more appropriate somehow.
Hey Ocelot! Congrats on 1,000 edis! To be honest, I'm not sure. I haven't spoken much to the other admins and I still feel like I'm bracing my feet around here myself. Lol. You'd have to speak with Crimson Susanoomon.
Thank you! I will try to speak with him today. And when I become an admin, I'd love to help you, and tackle much harder edits! You're an amazing administrator, and a big inspiration to me. Wish me luck!
